From May 19th Sara travelled 440 km more and reached the Algerian province of Boum El Bouaghi, an area characterized by mountains with rock faces, pastures, wetlands where she has been staying for 3 days.
For a fortunate coincidence close to this area lives Sarah Messabhia, an Algerian ornithologist of the ANAO (Algerian National Association of Ornithology) who studies the Egyptian vulture.
We got in touch with her and she'll try to find and photograph the young Egyptian vulture with her same name.
That province of Algeria holds 4 breeding pairs of E. vulture so Sara has probably associated herself with some resident individuals.
